Ken
Uston
Known as “The World’s Greatest Blackjack Player,”
Ken Uston developed a blackjack strategy for use not only
by high rollers and Mensa members, but specifically for the
average person wanting to have fun and win a few bucks at
the casino tables. Uston created his system by using computerized
statistical modeling that does not require the use of any
special skills or techniques. He honed his expertise as one
of the premier high stakes card counters in Las Vegas by being
accompanied to the casinos by a group of Uston taught card
counters who worked with him to divest the casinos of their
money.
Uston found himself in constant battles both in the casinos
and in the courtrooms as he fought for his right to play in
the casinos from which he was banned. Uston garnered near
unanimous praise as the “ultimate blackjack authority”
from, among others, Newsweek, Time, The Washington Post, Los
Angeles Times, and was also named “Blackjack Player
of the Century” by Blackjack Confidential Magazine.
Uston is also the author of “Million Dollar Blackjack,”
“Ken Uston on Blackjack,” and “The Big Player:
How a Team of Blackjack Players Made a Million Dollars.”
He is the creator of the video, “How to Win At Blackjack,”
one of the most acclaimed “how to” instructional
videos in the art of beating the house at blackjack Uston
was found dead of an apparent heart attack in Paris, France
in September of 1987. |
